As you may know, I visited the Morley Gallery in Lambeth on Saturday the 17th. I really enjoyed looking at the artworks on display there and two days later, at college, decided to try a style of drawing I was particularly taken to.
I didn't have the same mediums as Caroline Areskog-Jones, but I made do with what I had and it turned out quite nice - especially for a first try!
Drawing Large-Scale
The biggest shift I've had to make (in terms of drawing, and sketching) at college is going from drawing very small (rarely filling an A5 page) to drawing A3 self portraits and drawing nature from observation. I'm used to drawing relatively small, architectural or cartographic stuff, not the stuff I've just mentioned.
I'll share some of my portraits and college work later when I have them all on Google Photos for easy access.
Thanks for reading! More stuff coming your way soon! Comments highly appreciated :)
